Overview
The purpose of the Validate Shipping Address module is to reduce costly carrier fees which are the result of undeliverable shipping addresses. If your store has specific requirements such as no shipments to PO Boxes, Military Addresses, Non-contiguous US states, or other rules configured within your Address Guard account, than those can also be surfaced within the module.
This module requires an enabled integration with Address Guard. Not a current client? Be sure to request a demo to learn more.

Text Customization
There are various sections on the left side to customize, which correspond to the address validation result shown to customers:
Content - Address Suggestion
The 1st section allows you to customize the banner text that is shown to the customer when an address suggestion is shown. An address suggestion is often a minor correction to the address such as changing "Road" to "Drive" or basic misspellings.
Content - Inaccurate Address
The 2nd section allows you to customize the banner text that is shown to the customer when an address is inaccurate, that would result in a failed delivery. Your carrier will often charge a fee related to address issues. Avoid those costly issues by ensuring customers are aware of the issue and make the corrections before the order is shipped out.
Content - Address Updated
The 3rd section allows you to customize the banner text that is shown to the customer when an address is updated and they are given confirmation of the event.
