Overview
This article will help you to setup rules to prevent the product protection program from applying the fee % against the order.
Get Started
To begin customizing your product exclusions for protection program go to: Automations > Product Exclusions
Once on the page, click the Add Rule button on the top right to begin.
There are a few options to consider:
Product Type - this controls where the exclusion rule should be applied. To help with flexibility, we allow you to enter in the: Product Name, Product ID or Product SKU.
Product Value - enter in the associated value with the product type selected above. For example, if you select Product ID, then you will need to enter the Shopify Product ID in this field.
Action - there are two options if this product is detected within the customer's cart:
Exclude the product value - this means we will subtract the excluded product value from the protection program fee % calculation, and only charge the fee against the other eligible products in the cart.
Hide the protection widget - this option will hide the cart widget completely from the customer, thereby preventing them to add protection to their order.
Once you're happy with your selection, click the Submit button to complete the process. After the rule has been created, you can edit or delete it at anytime.
