Add Product to Order

Overview

The purpose of the Add product to order module is to drive additional revenue for your brand by encouraging customers to add new products to their existing order. When a new product is added the customer will be prompted to complete checkout so the store can fulfill their order.

Module Preview

There are 3 steps to follow to ensure this module can begin driving additional revenue for your brand:

  1. Content Customization

This 1st section allows you to customize the title, button and product view text that is shown to customers. If you'd like to give customers the ability to search for products instead of just scrolling down to view, click the checkbox "allow customers to search" > click save.

2. Discount Options

To encourage customers to purchase additional products after placing their order, we give the option of creating a one-time discount which is automatically applied to any items selected.

Select the type of discount (Percentage) or (Fixed) and then the value in the field.

3. Product Selection with Featured Products

The 2nd section allows you to select up to 3 products to be featured to customers as soon as they open up the product upsell area. Outside of the 3 selected products, as customers continue to scroll down the page by clicking "view more products", other additional products will continue to display.

There are also a few logic rules to be aware of:

  • The product selection list will only show In-Stock and Available products.

  • If a featured product becomes sold out or no longer available, the system will remove it from the list - allowing you to select a different product.
