Program Analytics for Product Protection

Overview

This article will help to explain all of the various charts and analytic values for your product protection program. The goal of this analytics page is to help give your team insights into how well the program is working, and also where customers are experiencing issues with their ordered products.


Get Started

To begin analyzing your program success metrics, go to: Analytics > Program Analytics

A. Top Charts

The 1st section contains 3 smaller charts with the purpose to give a quick overview on the more critical areas of your program.

  • Revenue Collected - how much money customers have paid for their product protection.

  • Attachment Rate - the % of customers who have opted-in for product protection, against total orders in your store.

  • Resolved Claims - the # of claims that have been approved or denied by your team.

B. Main Charts

The 2nd section contains 4 larger charts which give a breakdown of your claims.

  • Claim Cost - this is the value associated with product replacements or refunds based on approved claims.

  • Open Claims - the # of claims which your team has viewed but not resolved yet.

  • Approved Claims - the # of claims that have been approved.

  • Denied Claims - the # of claims that have been denied.

C. Products with Highest Claim Count

The 3rd section is meant to help give insights into which products are generating more claim submissions. The goal is to spot trends with particular products and make adjustments internally.

This chart contains the following values:

  • Product Name - the parent product name.

  • Claim Count - the # of claims for this product.

  • Top Claim Reason - the claim reason that has been selected the most based on the claim count is shown here.

  • Total Claim Value - this is calculated by taking product price for the order * claim count.

D. Claims by Reason

The 4th section is meant to give insights into which claim reasons are generating the most claims by type and value.

This chart contains the following values:

  • Claim Reason - the name of the reason for the claim submission.

  • Total Claims - the # of claims submitted for this claim reason.

  • Approved Claim Metrics - the # of approved claims and claim value for the order.

  • Denied Claim Metrics - the # of denied claims and claim value for the order.
