Overview
This article will help your team export claims as they are submitted by customers to help with your internal review or to help speed up claim submission with your shipping carriers.
Get Started
To begin with exporting your claims, click into the Claims page and then select the Export button on the top right.
Once the prompt opens, there are a few options for which claims should be exported:
Current page - this option will export all claims that are visible on the current page that you have open on your screen. For example, if you have Page 5 open, then only Page 5 will be exported.
Selected - this option will export all of the claims you've selected via the checkboxes on the far left.
Claims by date - this option will allow you to select the claim dates (From) & (To) and then generate an export based on those dates only.
Next, there are two types of Export Types to consider:
Standard claims export - this will export data based on your claim history including our standard columns.
FedEx claims export - this will generate an export based on the FedEx claims submission template when filing with the carrier directly. Shipment Guard will automatically fill out the required fields helping your team save time when speaking to the carrier about lost or damaged products.
Once you're happy with the selection, click the Export claims button to complete the process. The file will then download to your device in CSV format.
