Overview
This guide will provide a complete walkthrough how to add the VIP Checkout button to your cart flow for customers. The VIP Checkout feature has been shown to dramatically increase protection opt-in rates while giving customers more confidence in your program's benefits.

Installation Steps
This tutorial is split into two parts, including your Shipment Guard account and your Checkout editor within Shopify.
Shipment Guard setup
Click Display > Cart Widget
Select VIP Checkout
Click Save
Shopify Checkout setup
Access your Shopify admin panel and follow these instructions:
Click Online Store > Themes > Customize (on your live theme)
Click App Embeds (on the left mini menu) > Shipment Guard (set to enabled)
Select the side arrow to open up settings
Select VIP Checkout
Click Save
VIP Checkout Customization
Once the VIP Checkout button has been successfully added to your cart, the next step is to customize the content to better fit your brand. To get started follow these steps:
Click on top and select Cart
Select App Embeds (icon on the far left)
Open up the Shipment Guard settings area and scroll down
You'll now have a few options to customize based on your brand guidelines
Options include:
VIP Checkout Title
VIP Benefits Text
Button Text
Regular Checkout Text
Button background & text color
Text Size
Border Radius
For advanced users, we also provide a Custom CSS area if you would like to further customize this section beyond our customization options.
Advanced
If your store has a slide out cart (often called a Cart Drawer), we also have instructions how to add our VIP Checkout button to this area as well. This step does require basic technical knowledge of your theme which we cover in our tutorial video.
